HIGH-DENSITY FIBERBOARD

Image
HIGH-DENSITY FIBERBOARD The high-density fiberboard (HDF) for floors is a type of engineering wood product . It is made of wood fibre extracted from wood chips and wood pulp debris. The floor HDF is similar but much harder and denser than the floor of particleboard or medium-density fiberboard (MDF). It has a density greater than 50 pounds per cubic foot or 800 kg per cubic meter. This makes it a perfect stabilizer material for laminate floors and designed hardwood floors. What is the HDF? HDF (fiberboard / high-density chipboard ) is like MDF, as it is a synthetic composite panel made of compressed wood fibres. It is a stronger and harder product than MDF, with a typical density of up to 900 kg / m3. HDF is mainly used on laminate floors where this density is required, although other uses include door coverings and lower payments. HDF is a very thin panel with a typical thickness of 3 mm to 8 mm and is also supplied perforated, which means that it is not suitable as a substrate for
